Repairs Priced Up Front
Seven core services for the vehicles people actually drive up here. Tap any one for the details, the usual warning signs and what goes into the price. Every page also says which symptoms need booking soon and which can wait.

Brake Repair
Pads, rotors, calipers and brake fluid, quoted per axle after a free inspection so you pay for one axle when only one is worn.
Details and pricing factors
Scheduled Maintenance & Oil Changes
Oil changes and the services your owner's manual calls for, priced from the schedule so there are no add-ons at the counter.
Details and pricing factors
Check Engine Light Diagnostics
Warning lights and drivability problems traced to the real fault, so the repair quote covers the cause, not a string of guesses.
Details and pricing factors
Suspension & Steering Repair
Clunks, wander and uneven tire wear traced to the specific worn part, then quoted with safety items listed first.
Details and pricing factors
Engine Repair & Replacement
Leaks, overheating and internal failures confirmed by testing first, then two prices on the table: fix it or swap it.
Details and pricing factors
Transmission Repair & Rebuilds
Slipping and harsh shifts checked from the cheapest cause up, so a rebuild is only quoted when the inside of the unit is worn.
Details and pricing factors
Diesel Engine Repair
Diesel pickups with smoke, power loss or regeneration trouble tested properly, so costly parts are only quoted when proven bad.

How We Run the Shop
No sales floor. No commission. Just repairs explained and quoted before they start.
Your number comes first
You hear a total for parts and labor before work begins. If the job changes once the vehicle is apart, we stop and call. The bill you pay matches the price you agreed.
Gas and diesel, same bay
A Duramax, a Subaru and a minivan can all sit in our shop on the same morning. A household with a work truck and a family car can bring both here and deal with one shop, one phone number and one set of records.
We sort what matters most
Not everything on an inspection needs doing this week. We separate the safety items from the ones that can wait, and we tell you which is which. You get the list in that order, with a price beside each line.
Tested, not guessed
Parts are replaced because a test showed they failed. That is how a repair stays fixed instead of coming back a month later. When a test is inconclusive, we say so rather than guess.
What Actually Drives a Repair Bill
Knowing what moves the price helps you judge any quote, ours included.
- Parts grade
- Original-equipment parts cost more than quality aftermarket parts. Sometimes the difference matters and sometimes it does not, and we tell you which before you choose.
- Labor time
- Some parts sit behind an hour of disassembly, others take ten minutes to reach. We quote labor from the job, not from a round number.
- Related wear
- A failed part can leave its neighbors tired too. We list those separately so you can decide whether to replace them now or later.
- What can wait
- Splitting work across two visits is often sensible. We will tell you when it saves money and when it simply costs a second round of labor.
Repair, Replace or Walk Away
When an engine or transmission fails on an older vehicle, the honest answer is not always a repair. We look at what the job costs, what the vehicle is worth and how much life the rest of it has left, then give you the numbers for each path.
Sometimes the best value is a straightforward repair. Sometimes it is a replacement unit with a fresh start. And now and then the right call is to spend nothing more and put the money toward another vehicle. You make that decision; our job is to make sure it rests on real figures.
Whatever you lean toward, we write the numbers down so you can think it over, talk it through at home and call back when you are ready. Nobody here will push you to decide on the spot.
From Phone Call to Pickup
Five steps. You approve each important one, and most routine visits wrap up within the working day.
Call
Tell us the vehicle and the problem. We set a drop-off time.
Free inspection
We look the vehicle over at no charge and pin down what is wrong.
Price
You get a total for each repair, sorted by how soon it matters.
Fix
We carry out the jobs you said yes to. If the scope shifts once parts come off, the phone rings before the wrench turns again.
Drive and hand back
A test drive proves the repair worked; then the keys come back to you along with a short written note of what was done.
Serving Georgetown and the Upper Creek
From the Silver Plume end of the valley to Floyd Hill, most of our customers drive the same steep stretch of I-70 we do. That stretch is tough on brakes, transmissions and cooling systems, so those are the parts we check closely on every visit. Live farther out than the towns listed? Call and we will tell you straight whether the trip is worth it for the repair you need.

Got a quote somewhere else?
Bring it to us. We will inspect the vehicle free and tell you plainly whether the work is needed and what we would charge for it. If the other quote is fair, we will say so.
Straight Answers to Common Questions
Six questions we get on the phone all the time.
What tells me the pads are nearly gone?
A steady squeal, a grinding noise, a longer stopping distance or a pedal that travels farther than it used to. Many pads have a small metal tab that squeals on purpose when they get thin. Do not wait for grinding; by then the rotors are usually damaged too.
Will you take a diesel pickup?
Yes. Light-duty diesel trucks are a regular part of our week, from routine service to injector, turbo and exhaust-aftertreatment fixes. Bring the truck in the same way you would a car. The routine side, oil, filters and brakes, is covered here too, so the truck does not need a second shop.
How do I know the transmission is going?
Watch for slipping, where the engine revs but the vehicle does not pick up speed, plus harsh or delayed shifts, a burnt smell or red fluid under the truck. Any of those deserve a check before the problem grows.
Do you install factory parts or aftermarket?
Both, depending on the job and your budget. Some repairs really are better with original-equipment parts; for others a quality aftermarket part is just as good for less money. We tell you which we are quoting and why.
Can I supply the parts myself?
In some cases, yes. We will check the part is correct before fitting it. We cannot stand behind a part we did not source, so if it fails early the repeat labor is billed again. We explain that trade-off before you decide.
What happens at a factory-interval service?
We follow the list your manufacturer publishes for that mileage: oil and filter, fluid checks or changes, filters, inspections and any items such as spark plugs that are due. You get a dated record for your files.
Know the Price Before You Hand Over the Keys
